5000 Series Alloys

At Golden Aluminum, we consider ourselves the 5000 series experts. We offer most common and a wide variety of harder to find 5000 series alloys in O, H and F tempers. 

The 5000 series alloys have Magnesium and Manganese are the major alloying elements. The 5000 series alloys are medium to high strength and can be designed to perform in a wide range of applications. They are weldable, excellent corrosion resistance, non-heat-treatable and available in several tempers.

We manufacture products up to a sheet width of 30” (760mm) and up to a thickness of .063 (1.6 mm).

3000 Series Alloys

The 5000 series alloys have Manganese as the major alloying elements and are low in Magnesium. The 3000 series alloys have high formability and can be designed to perform in a wide range of applications. They are corrosion resistance, non-heat-treatable.

Infinity Family Aluminum Alloys

  • Our 5016/5017 Infinity Family alloys have the highest recycled post consumer aluminum content in the industry (>50%) 
  • 5154GA, 5052GA, 5352GA. These modern alloys are made substituting recycled aluminum for some of the prime aluminum while maintaining the same performance. The recycled materials content of these alloys is typically 20-30%, double that of the replaced older alloys which have <10% recycled content.
